ALPHA OMEGA MARTIAL ARTS - COVID-19 - ACTION PLAN
Following the easing of lockdown restrictions as a result of Nebraska Government Guidance Alpha Omega Martial Arts has produced the following action plan to provide information to members regarding changes/restrictions which will be in place in order to allow training to begin again. This plan should be used in conjunction with Nebraska Health Guidelines and where applicable guidance from medical professionals. The steps that are outlined below will mitigate the risk of COVID-19 being transmitted within the dojang however the risk will remain and individuals are asked to assess whether it is appropriate for them to return to dojo training. This will be particularly important for any individual who is classified as "Vulnerable" under the current Nebraska Guidelines.
Alpha Omega Martial Arts will continue to work with the Nebraska Government. This action plan and further guidance will be updated and disseminated to members following any updates or changes in Government Policy.
Members who attend the dojang do so at their own risk, whilst Alpha Omega Martial Arts has taken all possible steps to mitigate risk it will remain.
Changes to the Facility
To mitigate risks when within the dojang the following changes to the facility have been made.
Toilets: the toilets within the dojo will remain open however only one individual will be permitted within the space at a time.
Facility Additions
Sanitizing/Hand Washing Stations: A sanitizing/hand washing stations has been installed within the dojang at the counter area.
Attendance: will be taken for all classes within the dojang. Attendees will be required to accurate contact details: address, email and telephone. These will be stored securely ate the dojang in order to assist with any necessary test and trace procedures.
Class and Attendance
Attendance: if anyone is showing symptoms of Covid-19 or has had contact with an individual with Covid-19 symptoms they are not permitted entry to the dojang and should follow Nebraska Government Guidelines. Anyone with a new continuous cough, a high temperature or the loss/change to sense of taste and/or smell will not be permitted entry to the dojo. The instructor retains the right to test attendees temperatures if it is deemed appropriate.
Within the Dojang: when inside the dojang attendees will be required to sanitize on entry, before entering/exiting the mat area and on exiting the premises.
Instance of Covid-19
If an attendee contracts Covid-19 or shows symptoms: should anyone who has attended the dojang contract Covid-19, display symptoms or have had contact with any individual who has (as per Nebraska Government Guidelines) they are not permitted to attend the dojang under any circumstances. The individual should contact Alpha Omega Martial Artsto inform of the situation at the earliest opportunity.
If Alpha Omega Martial Arts receives notice of a symptomatic/infected individual: should an attendee show symptoms or be directed to self-isolate in line with Nebraska Government Guidelines Alpha Omega Martial Arts will inform individuals who were in contact with the symptomatic person at the earliest opportunity. Alpha Omega Martial Arts will retain full and accurate records of attendees and will fully assist Nebraska Test and Trace where appropriate.
Cleaning post a symptomatic/infected attendee: once Alpha Omega Martial Arts receives notice that an attendee has either contracted Covid-19 or is displaying symptoms the facility will be immediately closed for 48 hours. During this time a deep clean of the facility will be conducted.
