Combat Hapkido training is designed as an effective way to promote practical and moral self-defense in a modern world. It is hoped that it will provide peace, security, and well-being. It is not our intention to promote violence. The world needs more protectors, and less predators!
Combat Hapkido is based on ancient martial arts disciplines and modernized with current teaching methodologies, fitness strategies and a modern approach to handling physical threats and psychological confrontations that are likely to occur in own society today.

It’s important to us that our children be involved in some sort of extracurricular activity and learn team building skills as well as setting personal goals. She’s had a little bit of concentration and self discipline issues and being a part of Mike’s Hapkido program has been super beneficial. My son was starting to feel a little jealous that his two older sisters had extra-curricular activities to go to after school and he didn't. He loves to move, so I wanted to enroll him in a program that would allow for him to be active, but still receive instruction. He also had an interest in Power Rangers, so I thought martial arts would be a perfect fit. For me, the location and schedule for his "Sparks" Hapkido class is very convenient for our busy family. For my son, he has fun in class, while still learning self-discipline, and is eager to show me what he learns. I can tell he's proud of the skills he's acquiring by the smile on his face. Mike is very patient with this age group and has set a good foundation for learning as my son progresses through the program.

Our Instructors
Each coach, trainier and instructor receives training from Grandmaster Michael Rowe and his Instructor/Leadership College. All are schooled in how to help you discover your own insights into personal empowerment, resourcefulness, broader vision, peace of mind, and hapiness.
We serve the families of Saunders County along with visitors from around the world. People have travelled to our dojang for martial arts advancement that can only be found in our unique program of instruction.

Michael Rowe
President and Chief Instructor
Michael Rowe has dedicated almost 40 years of his life to the research, practice, and instruction of personal protection skills (self-defense). He has had the privilege of studying under some of the leading martial arts masters, military combat trainers, and defensive tactics instructors in the world. He has also tested his concepts and theories on the battlefield and in the harsh reality of working in prisons & jails. This experience translates into one of the most well rounded and effective personal protection curriculum available today.
Every aspect of the training curriculum is reviewed annually. Standards are meticulously maintained through review of both the students and the instructor staff insuring the highest quality in excellence.

Donna Ingold
Associate Instructor
began her training in the martial arts in 2011 with the study of Sho-Rei-Shobu-Kan Goju Ryu Karate-Do in Charlotte, North Carolina. In May 2014 she achieved her Shodan (first degree black belt) in Lincoln Nebraska, where she currently continues to train. In June 2016 she was awarded her Nidan (second degree black belt) in a test conducted in Washington D.C.
Associate Instructor

Assistant Instructor
a Sophmore at Wahoo High School and has been studying with the Founder of Alpha Omega most of his childhood and serves the school in the capacity as an apprentice junior instructor. He is currently studying Combat Hapkido with the goal of achieving his Black Belt soon.
